Abstract

This article is an analysis of the story of Samson and Delilah which has many different views
and interpretations, especially the interpretations of feminist scholars, so that this diversity
creates ambiguity in the text itself. This story is considered a parable that has theological
meaning and it is further said that the narrative is primarily about power relations between
various individuals, national power, and God. This research uses a qualitative literature
study method which examines the text of Judges 16:4-22 by looking at various
interpretations from feminist experts and also comparing them with other interpretations.
The purpose of this research is to see whether the love story of Samson and Delilah is only a
parable or whether it is related to the power of a woman over a man. This aim also leads to
comparisons with parables in the New Testament. The love story between Samson and
Delilah is a theological story about the power of women who use love to conquer the power
of men.

menaklukkan kekuatan pria.
