Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna teologis yang terkandung dalam persembahan persepuluhan yang dijelaskan dalam Imamat 27:30-33, di mana persembahan persepuluhan merupakan suatu bentuk pengakuan atas kepemilikan Allah atas segala sesuatu. Masalah utama yang akan dikaji adalah kecenderungan timbulnya mispersepsi terhadap persembahan persepuluhan yang menyatakan bahwa persembahan harus selalu sepuluh persen, sehingga dianggap memberatkan jemaat yang mengakibatkan hilangnya esensi dari persembahan, yakni memberi dengan sukacita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan historis kritis, dengan menganalisis bahasa asli dari teks dan terjemahan harfiah, serta berbagai sumber akademik dan literatur yang membahas tentang persembahan persepuluhan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persembahan persepuluhan tidak hanya sekadar kewajiban ritual, tetapi juga merupakan sebuah panggilan untuk hidup dalam integritas dan rasa tanggung jawab sosial. Dengan memahami nilai-nilai ini, jemaat dapat lebih berkontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat dan menciptakan dampak yang lebih luas bagi lingkungan sekitarnya.
